There’s a pretty significant update to the Content Catalog (the big ‘ol listing of everything that’s AL legal, and chock-full of handy links to where you can purchase that content) today, and I wanted to take a quick moment to highlight a couple submissions. Rob Silva has crafted a follow-up to CCC-CIC-04 Best Friends Forever, which features a very special NPC with quite a backstory. This adventure is set in Mulmaster and, as the blurb describes, gets into some heavy matter with the discovery of a tome that can purportedly be used to lift the curse of undeath.
Designed by Michael Maenza, and don’t let the cover art scare you off. Mining accidents and things that go bump in the dark – Cold Iron Conventions has a solid handle on how to deliver an experience.
I’m pretty sure that CCC-CIC-08 consumed -07 simply because it needed more letters in order to spell the title. That aside, this was designed by Greg Marks (yup, the admin!) and features a supply mission bound for Mulmaster… by boat. If you’re still reading this, it’s because you haven’t clicked the link – it’s a solid romp and well worth picking up!
Andrew Bishkinskyi, another regular in our Facebook groups, presents us with this offering. If you’re keen on drow, this is likely a solid choice for your group. Included in this tactical adventure are some NPC table tents (pretty handy stuff for players and DMs alike), an adventure flowchart due to the variable nature of the content, and a very special diagram that your players will either love or really, really want to run away from (hint: it involves a bunch of legs – but as this a drow-themed adventure, that shouldn’t be a surprise).
While not new to the CCC list, I wanted to call these entries out. Why? Well, they were run at Origins in 2017 and got some pretty excellent reviews! At tier 3, they’re no joke and will almost certainly keep the stories flowing in your group for some time. And on top of that… it’s Zhentil Keep, the evil stronghold on the western shores of the Moonsea. Word is that it’s a pretty important place in the lore of the Forgotten Realms…
This adventure is the first part of a trilogy set near Glister, and includes a Fantasy Grounds mod file for all you online RPG folks. It premiered at SCARAB Gaming Convention in January of this year, and was written by Phil Allison – a community name that may look familiar to those of you that frequent our Facebook groups.
This adventure includes some colored handouts and a flowchart – I hear that some DMs really like flowcharts – and provides numerous roleplay opportunities. Without giving too much away, it’s a direct leading to CCC-SCAR01-02 Glister by Light, which is also available on dmsguild!
Iam Pace and William Murakami-Brundage have teamed up to deliver this piece of tier 2 goodness. WIth a variety of maps and other visual aids, this adventure promises to provide a visual and thematic impact. If you’re not already familiar with their work, we urge you to check them out!
