So, with the recent release of the Season 6 Player’s Guide, Dungeon Master’s Guide, and accompanying FAQ documentation some of you may have noticed a little extra something on the front cover:

Right there, in the mix with the rest of the team names that you’ve all come to recognize is a new one. A new challenger, if you will, or perhaps a new hope; either way, Sam Simpson has joined our team in an official capacity!
Sam will taking on the Customer Service Manager role for the Adventurers League. This means that he will be serving as our liaison between the AL staff and “the office”; his core duties revolve around mixing the communication as-delivered by us with the communication that is delivered by the Customer Support specialists when you and your stores call Wizards of the Coast.
I dunno about you all, but this is a pretty momentous event I think. (do you think he knows what he’s in for?)
Now unfortunately I don’t have any photos of Sam to share – he may or may not be a vampire – but I can tell you this:

We’ve been working hard with the Wizards of the Coast staff to ensure a tighter, stronger bond between the Adventurers League presence and the larger team. Your concerns are ours as well!
