Merry Midwinter, One and All!

The chill wind nips the tip of your nose. The final harvest has been stored. And though the sky grows darker each night, the streets glow with candles, lanterns, and warm, flickering lights. The Midwinter Festival is upon us!

For the month of December 2018, the Adventurers League will be celebrating our annual Midwinter Festival. This holiday is the capstone of our year, an opportunity to celebrate our community and the spirit of giving that so many Dungeon Masters, organizers, and players embody in the AL every day. The festivities can be enjoyed no matter in what setting your table plays, and you are welcome to adjust the flavor of the festivities if Midwinter specifically is foreign (cough cough… Eberron).

Pose in the Photo Booth

Alright, all! Gather your Dungeons & Dragons family, and strike a pose! Send your 2018 photos of your Adventurers League groups to [email protected] Your photo might be used in our Midwinter Slideshow, on our social media pages, or on our website. Near the end of December, we will release a special Midwinter certificate that those who sent photos can download.

Enjoy the Season of Giving

Throughout the month, we will gift special Midwinter certificates to the community. These gifts are imbued with Midwinter magic! Enjoy them while they last (their festive magic fades February 1, 2019), print them for yourself, for your table, for your entire Adventurers League night! Keep an eye on our website, Facebook, and Twitter for announcements when these are shared.

Attend the Midwinter Gala

You’re invited to the Midwinter Gala in the City of Splendors! Next week’s issue of Dragon+ Magazine will feature a new Midwinter adventure available for Adventurers League play. You also will be able to purchase the adventure DDAL00-05 Winter’s Splendor from DMsGuild.com as of Thursday, December 6, 2018, if you’d like to show some extra support to our talented author, Ashley Warren.
